Pictures worth a thousand words

I take a lot of photographs. The camera is my memory and when I’m looking for story ideas or descriptions of settings and things, I go through my photographs.

There can be a world of ideas in a single image.

So I’ll probably post a lot of photos to this blog as I go through them and find ones that catch my fancy.

Adding to the lifelist

I’m a believer in lifelists. Doing those things you always wanted to do.

This weekend I get to cross something off of my lifelist. I’m covering the first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in Stanford for SPM Sports Page.

Four games on Saturday and two games on Monday and my brain and body will be mush, not to mention my eardrums. But wow, it’s going to be fun.
